Meet "Sarge" Sgt. McDaniels PTSD Service dog. Sarge is a Shiloh Sheperd and is currently in training. Veterans for children has teamed up with K9 College for the training of these animals. As you are aware the government has recently cut funding for Service Dogs for our veterans. The Current cost for these animals is between $30,000 to $50,000 after training. Veterans for Children will be offering a program to veterans to obtain a PTSD dog free of charge ( eligibility, screening, as well as qualifications) will be strictly enforced. We are currently trying to raise $100,000 for a training facility to board the animals and veterans while training with their partner. Each PTSD dog is a "Partner" to the veteran.
